5 Swim Brands You May Not Have Heard Of But You Need To Know

Stone Fox Swim: Stone Fox Swim is the brainchild of none other than the fabulous Chelsea Bell, owner of The Bikini Fox.  The brand’s first collection “Howlin’ for You” was debuted just a couple of months ago, and the responses have been nothing but positive.  Cheeky brazilian cuts in vibrant colors and fun tribal prints? What could be better?! Check out the whole range here or buy the collection here.

Moana Bikini: The Aussie site Moana has been a favorite of mine since I came across their Facebook page a couple of months ago.  Founder and directior Karina Irby grew up in Hawaii and wanted to introduce Hawaiian style swimwear to the Gold Coast of Australia.  Stocking San Lorezno Bikinis, the suits are made in Hawaii and are the perfect fit for any surfer girl out there!  Check out their Facebook page as well as their website!

Molly & Polly Swimwear:  Another brand from down under, Molly & Polly swimwear is swiftly making it’s way up in the swimwear game.  Founder Kirsten Beck finds inspiration for her suits through photography, travel and summers past and are made from the finest Italian Lycra’s.  From sunsets to beach landscapes, these suits could be considered works of art.  One of my favorite pieces is the surf legging – I would wear it out for the night!

Mimi Chaos: If you wanted to describe Mimi Chaos’s target customer in five words, they would be “for girls who ride boards.”  This Hawaiian based brand is all about making quality suits that stay on and even keep the toughest girl’s femininity in tact.  Surfing, wake boarding or hanging out in the pool, you can do it all in a Mimi Chaos suit.  Be sure to check their Facebook page and shop here!

Mandalynn Swimwear:  Ever since I saw the Betty One Piece on Nasty Gal’s website, I fell in love.  After studying in both NYC and Miami, Amanda Dukehart was unhappy with the swimwear choices that were being produced within the industry.  Cheeky, stylish and bold with a mix of lingerie elements to always make her customer feel her most comfortable, Mandalynn is for the passionate, free-spirited girl that isn’t afraid to stand out.  Check out the site here.
